The teams continued to trade points and another Mahlong layup at the 8:34 mark pushed EMU's lead back to give, 46-41. The Bullets then went on an 8-2 run to take their first lead of the game, 49-48. EMU took the lead right back with three straight but a three from Gettysburg put the Bullets back on top.
