HARRISONBURG, Va. - The EMU men's soccer team wrapped up its 2022 season on Wednesday, taking on Roanoke College.
The Maroons picked up a goal right before the half and two more in the second as they picked up a 3-0 win over the Royals.

Highlights
- 3' - The Royals picked up their first shot on goal in just the third minute when Dallas Organek got past the defense and put one on net. The Maroons keeper, however, made the save to his right to keep the game scoreless.
- 15' - Andrew Foltz grabbed a save off a shot from Liam Camilleri to keep Roanoke off the board after 15 minutes. Foltz would have two more saves in the half.
- 45' - Right when it looked like the teams would go into the locker room scoreless, Roanoke's Till Pfleging stung a shot from about 26 yards out that found the back of the net past a diving Foltz, giving RC a 1-0 lead. The Maroons would add a pair in the second half as well, giving them a 3-0 lead.
- 72' - EMU's second shot would come off the foot of Jacques Mobile but the Roanoke keeper made a jumping save to keep EMU off the board.

This wraps up the 2022 season for the Royals. They'll return a bulk of scoring, defense and both keepers for next season's squad.
